The book that I like to read is My Weird School. The weirdness is prevalent throughout this book.
Let me introduce the very funny characters to you. The main character, A.J., is a boy who hates school all the time. Ryan likes eating everything even though it isn’t food. Michael dislike tying his shoes. Alexia always likes riding a skateboard. Andrea is an annoying girl with curly brown hair. Emily is a tiresome girl who can easily burst into tears. Neil is a boy whom we call “the nude kid” even though he wears clothes. You will find all the characters very funny in the book.
Why all the kids believe the school is the weirdest? Let’s seek the answers in the book.
Mr. Klutz, the principal, has no hair, and always gets his head polished, yet most people polish their shoes. Sometimes, Mr. Klutz is a nut, because he believes it is totally normal to ride a skateboard to school and crash into a patch of bushes. Additionally, Mr. Klutz instructs the students to read books with few hundred millions of pages. If a student finish reading the books, Mr. Klutz will keep his promise that the gym classroom will be used as the video game center for one night, and he will wear a gorilla suit. Mr. Klutz is weird, isn’t he?
Besides, many more weird things happen. One day, A.J.’s class was rated as the cleanest class in the school, and as a result, all the class members had the chance to go to the zoo. When the zoo keeper saw a kid almost caught by a lion, Alexia rode her skateboard to save the kid. I think it is because Alexia rides her skateboard wherever she goes that she can do the rescue. Alexia is cool and weird, isn’t she?
In the book, Mrs. Brown always make things upside down. One day, Mrs. Brown goes to school with her hands on the ground and her feet up in the air.
This book is truly funny and full of weird things, and it makes me laugh all along. I hope you will like it too.
